Snow White and Rose Red

A Germany fairy tale by Brothers Grimm, tells about two sisters named Snow White and Rose Red who lived with their mother in a small cottage.
I made an illustration from one of the scene in this story which is when the two little girl went to look for firewood in the forest, and then they saw a wrinkled-faced dwarf struggling to free his beard which had caught in the gap in tree trunk when he was chopping the tree tunk. They felt sorry and tried to help the dwarf. Snow white took out scissors from the pocket to cut the dwarf’s beard that was stuck.
I started by making two concept and the chosen concept was the first one, the tree of them look more expressive.
